The south coast of the Algarve will be under yellow warning from the Portuguese Institute of the Sea and Atmosphere, due to the agitation at sea, from the next dawn. on the west coast, the notice issued last monday has been extended until 15pm this Wednesday.

According to IPMA, on the south coast, from 3:00 am on the 19th of April, southeast waves of 2 meters are planned, gradually increasing to 2-3 meters from the 20th (Friday). The notice extends until 11:00 am on Saturday.

This morning, due to spring spring tides, there were overtoppings of the sea at Praia de Faro, which caused damage to pedestrian accesses and terraces.
