A 34-year-old man of Brazilian nationality died this morning when he was spit out of the car he was following, after he lost track, on the access node to the A22, in the Bensafrim area, near Lagos.

The man was traveling alone, in a light vehicle with a Portuguese license plate, which lost his way. "After the collision, the victim was spat out, hitting the central separator, having been practically cut in half," he told the Sul Informação Lieutenant Carvalho Afonso, Communications and Public Relations Officer of the Territorial Command of the Faro of the GNR.

The accident occurred at 1:50 am this morning, at kilometer 2.9 of Via do Infante/A22, towards Faro/Lakes.

Source of the District Relief Operations Command (CDOS) of Faro he told our newspaper that there were 24 operatives at the site, supported by 12 vehicles, from the Fire Department of Lagos, INEM, Euroscut and GNR.
