“Cream of peas with ham” and “Griséus with quail eggs and tuna muxama” are the dishes whose preparation will be demonstrated in a gastronomic session scheduled for March 24, at 10:30 am, at the Municipal Museum of Tavira – Palácio da Galeria, in under the “Mediterranean Diet All Year” program.

This session is organized by the Municipality of Tavira, coordinated by Corinne Romeira (the municipality's senior technician) and under the guidance of Chef Adérito de Almeida.

“Mediterranean Diet All Year” is a program of activities to safeguard the Mediterranean Diet that aims to promote the multiple dimensions of the Mediterranean lifestyle and cultural landscape.

The program includes tours of interpretation of the territory, demonstrations and workshops on Mediterranean know-how.

The activities are promoted by the Municipality in collaboration with local inhabitants and partnerships with other institutions, integrating empirical and scientific knowledge.

Registration, free and mandatory, is intended for the general public and a maximum number of 20 participants.
