The Algarve company Sun Concept, a builder of solar boats, is going to be present at Nauticampo, a tourism fair that takes place from April 4th to 8th, at the Lisbon International Fair (FIL).

This is the company's third presence in the largest exhibition dedicated to Tourism in Portugal.

Sun Concept will be present at stand 1B10, located in Pavilion 1. In addition to being able to view, appreciate and visit a Sunsailer 7.0 boat, visitors to Sun Concept's stand will also be able to see the prototype of the brand's new catamaran, which will hit the market at the end of April.

This is the third time that Sun Concept is present in one of the most important events dedicated to Nautical in Portugal. «It is important to be present at events of this dimension, showing what is best made and sold in Portugal in these areas», points out Manuel Costa Braz, executive director of Sun Concept.

"We want to show the country and the world that it is possible to invest heavily in tourism while respecting the planet and without harming the sector," adds the official.

"In the medium term, we believe that most leisure boats, whether pleasure boats or boats belonging to tour operators for professional purposes, will yield to the benefits of renewable energy," he argues.

The company Sun Concept launched the first boat powered by solar energy two and a half years ago and this year it was awarded the Green Project Awards in the Sea category.
