A wounded man had to be released this morning, after the accident that resulted from a head-on collision between a car and a light goods vehicle, on the EN125, in the Figueira area (Portimão).

The accident, which took place at 7:57 am this morning and led to the road being cut off, resulted in two minor injuries, including the man who was imprisoned, and who have already been transported to the Hospital in Portimão, according to a source from the CDOS to Sul Informação.

The head-on collision took place in front of the plant nurseries, in an area that has a continuous line.

On site were the Firefighters of Portimão, INEM, the GNR and also the Algarve Coast Routes, in a total of 15 operators and seven vehicles.

The traffic has already been reopened, although it is still done with some embarrassment when passing through the accident site.
