It's called Pickly and “offers more than a digital version of the menu”. This application, developed in the Algarve, is already used in several restaurants in the region and allows customers to choose meals and drinks on their smartphone or tablet.
The app's creators explain that «in addition to the delicious photographs of the dishes, which serve the purpose of making our mouths water, Pickly Menu suggests the most suitable wines for each dish, allows you to filter the menu by ingredients and food intolerances and customers can still leave yours feedback about the visit to the restaurant».
The application was developed by a team of young programmers from Algarve, «who saw in the market the opportunity to improve the offer of digital menus».
Pickly also promises «good news for the restaurants, which will increase their sales volume» and «forecasts, in the near future, to consolidate its presence in the Algarve and expand to other regions of the country, aiming to be the digital menu of reference of Portuguese restaurants».
