A 27-year-old motorcyclist died on the afternoon of Thursday, 18 January, in a collision with a light goods vehicle, on the former EN125, in the Troto area (Almancil).
The accident, which took place around 15:00, involved a van and a motorbike.
Witnesses at the scene say that the victim was trapped under the van and had to be expelled, but it was no longer possible to save her.
Source of the District Relief Operations Command (CDOS) of Faro said, to Sul Informação, that the road “is conditioned”.
INEM, GNR and Firefighters of Loulé were at the site, in a total of nine vehicles and 20 operational.
