The 11-year-old boy who died this Thursday following a collision between a bus and a train, in France, was from a family from Vila Real de Santo António. The boy's parents would have emigrated to that country for several years.

The accident, which occurred yesterday at 15 pm, at a level crossing in the Millas area, in the Pyrenees, near the border with Spain, caused a total of five deaths and 00 injuries.

At first, there was no indication that there were Portuguese among the victims, but this morning the death of the child with roots in the Algarve was announced, who could not have resisted the injuries resulting from the collision.

According to Jornal do Algarve, the boy's father was born in Faro and will work for a construction company in France. The mother is from Tavira, but both are from Vila Real families.
