MAR Shopping Algarve will promote a Job Fair on the 31st of August and the 1st and 2nd of September, «to publicize the job opportunities of the 110 stores in the future shopping center of Loulé». Among the new spaces confirmed in the shopping center, which will also be recruited in this initiative, are Starbucks, McDonald's, or 100 Montaditos.

At this Job Fair, the presence of stores to be recruited for the future Designer Outlet Algarve is also confirmed.

During the three days, from 11:00 am to 19:00 pm, next to the outdoor car park of the IKEA Loulé store, «those interested in submitting their applications to the available spaces, in the MAR Shopping Algarve and Designer Outlet Algarve stores, can visit the Fair of Employment and having a first contact with potential employers», advances IKEA Centers in a statement.

The Job Fair will have the support of the IEFP «which will be ensuring the presence of technicians to support candidates and employers, clarifying application requirements, eligibility conditions, including employment support measures».

This is the second edition of this initiative which, in May, according to IKEA Centres, attracted «more than 700 candidates».

Inditex Group (Bershka, Lefties, Massimo Dutti, Oysho, Pull & Bear, Stradivarius, Zara and Zara Home), Cortefiel Group (Springfield and Women'secret), Worten, Cinemas NOS, Pingo Doce, Starbucks, McDonald's, Joshua's, Butcher's Burger , Vitamins, Wok to Walk, 100 Montaditos, C&A, Deichman, José Luis Joias, Mike Davis, Salsa, Zippy, Flying Tiger Copenhagen and Centros Único will be recruiting at the event.

«We remain committed to providing the best conditions to ensure a meeting between employers and potential candidates for future MAR Shopping Algarve stores, which is why we are going to have a second edition with the presence of even more brands. As the initiative was designed to simplify the recruitment process for companies, it is with great satisfaction that we witness the confirmation of more than double the number of stores in this second edition. The pertinence of the first fair was recognized by the presence of more than 700 candidates and we hope that strong participation will occur again in the next three days of the fair, enabling us to continue to closely monitor the recruitment process, which although the responsibility of employers, we want to continue to support, providing interaction with potential candidates to the stores that will receive our visitors», comments Herman Gewert, general director of MAR Shopping Algarve.

According to IKEA Centres, «employers and job seekers will also have the opportunity to obtain information about the training plan of the IEFP and other training entities in the region, in response to training needs indicated by employers at MAR Shopping Algarve and for placement of young people and adults looking for work'.
