Theatre, music, dance and animals in a theater with the backdrop of Aljezurense landscapes. This is the “Rastilho” that will light up between Friday, the 14th, and Sunday, the 16th, at Bordeira, in Aljezur.

This project, which started with an artistic residency, will go out into the street, or rather, to walks in nature, with the aim of taking participants to «discover this nature that is here in force, through the arts, music and of the dance», he explained to the Sul Informação Giacomo Scalisi, co-responsible for till the sea, together with Madalena Victorino.

“Rastilho” brings together “18 people from this area, amateur artists and professionals who have never worked together. Madalena Victorino brought them all together to imagine these artistic paths”, he adds.

For Giacomo, this is “an important project, because it uses many people who are here and gives them an opportunity to create together. It is a project from scratch, even linked to the territory. There are people from Monchique, Aljezur, also from Odemira, and it is an important moment of artistic creation in the territory».

“Rastilho” is “a very clear example of what our project is till the sea, that one wants to settle down in the territory, go in depth and use the active forces that are here to show and create a bridge between nature and art».

According to Giacomo Scalisi, Rastilho wants to reach “people who want to come visit the territory, call tourists. Not only those from the more coastal Algarve, but those who come here to look for other visions of life linked to nature, people who are looking for an alternative life to our society».

This tour/show is scheduled for 16 pm, with a meeting point at Largo da Igreja da Bordeira. The route is three kilometers long, so the organization advises you to wear comfortable shoes.

In addition to walking and the arts, the show includes “small country delights”.

The tickets, that can be purchased here, they cost 8 euros, with children aged 6 to 12 paying half that amount.
