This weekend, the Medronho Festival attracts thousands of people to the Serra de Monchique. The restaurants are full, so are the accommodations, and, in the tent that houses the festival, set up on the village heliport, the producers of brandy and many other products made from the fruit picked in the mountains have no hands to measure.
The sessions of the «Medronho» initiative are also sold out, which takes theatrical performances to four medronho distilleries hidden in the mountains, taking participants to travel through a mystical world of fire and telluric force, at the rhythm of a dinner.
The Medronho Festival continues today, until 19 pm, so take advantage of the good weather to go up the mountain to Monchique.
