The Algarve municipalities of Loulé and Lagos are among the six nominated for the Publituris Trade Awards 2017, in the category of Best Municipality.
In addition to the two Chambers, the Algarve region is well represented in the nominations for these awards, through hotels, marinas and theme parks.
The awards will be delivered on the first day of the Lisbon Tourism Exchange, March 15, at 11:00 am, at the KeyforTravel auditorium, at FIL, in Lisbon.
Anyone can help pick the winner in each category, just access the event website and join the online voting, which takes place between the 3rd and 10th of March.
In order to validate the vote, an e-mail must be entered, which must be identical to the one registered in the Publituris newsletter. Winners result from a weighted average between newsletter subscriber votes (40%) and Jury votes (60%).
These awards are an initiative of the Jornal Publituris which aims to distinguish excellence in various sectors of tourism.
