The initiative «Poesia n'a Praça – Poetry Market» will pass by the Municipal Market of São Bartolomeu de Messines on the 15th of February, Wednesday, to promote this literary style.
Between 9:00 am and 12:30 pm, a stand dedicated to the sale of poetry books will bring several proposals aimed at those who visit the square, namely works by publishers in the Algarve and the rest of the country, by poets of various generations and lines of writing, poetry in foreign languages, brief performances and surprise readings.
This will be the second edition of this action promoted by Câmara de Silves and promoted by Casa-Museu João de Deus. The next stop for «Poesia n'a Praça» will be the Antiques and Old Shops Fair of S. Marcos da Serra, on the 25th of March. In the following months, poetry continues in other squares of the Silves county, always on the fourth Saturday of each month .
