Workshops, seminars and an advanced course in Neonatal Physiotherapy in the context of hospitalization are some of the proposals of the Physiotherapy Journeys, which take place from March 9th to 11th, at the Instituto Piaget de Silves, and aim to stimulate new practices and horizons.
To this end, a "broad and experienced group of professionals" will gather, which will allow the "sharing of knowledge between professionals and students", explains Piaget de Silves.
The idea is also to "encourage scientific research", he adds.
The advanced course in Neonatal Physiotherapy in the context of hospital admission will be given on March 9th, while on March 10th, the workshops.
The following day there will be lectures on «structural aspects and the applicability of the international classification of functionality» and on this profession itself, with the participation of the Portuguese Association of Physiotherapists.
