A course on how to create “Your Videogame”, another on how to make a talk show, to be held from the 3rd to the 4th of March, and a “Sushi for beginners” training, from the 6th to the 20th of May, are some of the 50 “Short Courses, made to measure” launched by ETIC_Algarve for this year, and which will have between 8 to 90 hours.
In addition to these, there will be training "in all areas" of teaching at this School: communication, design, photography, music, sound, video and videogames.
Therefore, other courses will be, for example, “event organization”, from March 2nd to 6th, Sports Photojournalism, from May 5th to May 20th, or voice-over, from March 10th to 11th.
For Nuno Ribeiro, director of ETIC_Algarve, this is a bet that is not restricted to «quantity. On the contrary, as is our prerogative, quality is a key factor in the selection of short courses available and it is this commitment to quality that makes the trainers chosen for each of these courses true experts in their areas».

In addition to these, ETIC_Algarve also makes a point of giving students the opportunity to learn from the great professionals we have in the region: Patrício Faísca, who is now finishing the new film directed by Diogo Morgado, Rafael Correia , known as GIJoe and with a very prolific work in music production, and Luís Rocha who is now on a European tour with the Algarve band Sam Alone and the Gravediggers», explains Nuno Ribeiro.

The courses “A Minha Primeira Vez”, aimed at younger people, will also continue this year. Thus, there will be initiation proposals, for example, to comics, from 3rd to 6th of April, or to the camera, for seniors, from 29th of May to 12th of June. Some courses will have special editions during the Easter and Summer holidays.
With this training offer, ETIC_Algarve «intends to contribute to the growth of the creative industries in the Algarve, through the transmission of knowledge and know-how of professionals who are already in the field, thus creating a critical mass in the region for it to grow and position itself, also at national level, as an attractive region for this market».
