parkalgar_01Two of the Parkalgar Racing Team's riders, Miguel Oliveira and Miguel Praia, had an intense test yesterday with the Yamaha R1 that will be used in the second round of the Endurance World Cup, the 12 Hours of Portimão, which take place on the 10th and 11th of June at the Autódromo Internacional do Algarve.

Looking to test the Yamaha R1 with the team colors, in the greatest possible range of hours, Miguel Oliveira and Miguel Praia started the long day precisely at the time when the race start order will be given (9:30 am), developing both riders throughout the entire day. work on schedule until sunset.

It was a very productive day that once again brought great sensations to both, they completed more than a hundred laps without any problems with the R1 with which they intend to discuss the top positions of the Portuguese race.

“It was a very long but very positive day. We've done a lot of kilometers on the bike again and we're getting more and more comfortable with it. The bike is simply fantastic and every time we go out on the track we know we have the best weapon in our hands to face this race. I'm looking forward to starting next week and training”, said Miguel Praia.

This training journey it did not yet have the presence of Matthieu Lussiana, the third member of the team, but Miguel Oliveira went back to running very fast, similarly to what he had done in the previous test sessions.

For Paulo Pinheiro, the person responsible for the team, the Parkalgar Racing Team is prepared for a tough test and the confidence in the trio of drivers is total. “We have a very fast trio of riders at this circuit and everything has been prepared to detail for a long and very special race day. I hope to have the stands full to support our riders as well”.
