This will be the theme of Adriana Freire Nogueira's lecture, on «Female Figures of Antiquity in Portuguese Literature», scheduled for tomorrow, June 3, at 18 pm, at the Roman Ruins of Milreu, in Estoi (Faro).

And because this is the last lecture of this cycle «Amatores in Situ», dedicated to the Ancient World, at 19 pm, the Concordis Guitar Quartet, consisting of Eudoro Grade, João Venda, Rui Martins and Rui Mourinho, presents the theme Iberis.

It is an Iberian-rooted program that combines different artistic languages ​​and original arrangements of the songs by José Afonso and Carlos Paredes by Pedro Loureiro and George Bizet.

The cycle «Amatores in Situ» results from the collaboration between the Regional Directorate of Culture of the Algarve, the University of Algarve and the Portuguese Association of Classical Studies, with the scientific coordination of Professor Adriana Nogueira, from the Faculty of Human and Social Sciences at UAlg . It is part of the DiVaM program for the dissemination and enhancement of the Algarve's Monuments.
