Strawberries are the theme and confirmed presence at the last Mercado de Querença before the summer, scheduled for next Sunday, May 29th.
«With a pleasant flavor and aroma, strawberries are a temptation. Naturally, in the filling or topping of a cake, crushed in fresh juice or made into jam or jam for breakfast…they are the fruit of choice. And the sweetest strawberries are from Querença! Do not believe?! Come and taste this Sunday at Mercado de Querença, between 10:00 and 13:00», challenges the organization.
More than 20 stalls will be present, including the usual displays of local crafts, agricultural production and sweets.
As of October, this initiative will take place again, but in a different format and with several new features. That is the desire of the team that organizes this event since 2011.
The Querença Market was born from the “Projecto Querença” initiative and is promoted in partnership with the Parish Union of Querença, Tor e Benafim and the Municipality of Loulé.
