anyg careers fairThe first edition of the “UAlg Careers Fair”, taking place on April 12th and 13th, at the Penha Campus Pedagogical Complex, in Faro, has already confirmed the presence of more than 30 entities, of which 25 are companies interested in recruiting.

This fair aims to contribute to the insertion of students and graduates of the University of Algarve in the labor market, facilitating the search for a job and the development of a professional career.

UAlg students and graduates who wish to participate in the “UAlg Careers Fair” can still register until the 8th of April.

The initiative, organized by UAlg and the Academic Association, will have several exhibition spaces, company presentation sessions, recruitment sessions, workshops with practical sessions on the theme of employability, lunches networking, among other activities.

The event, sponsored by Pine Cliffs Resort, Garvetur and Vilamoura World, have also confirmed the participation of the following companies: Talenter™, Jerónimo Martins Group, ToInovate Consulting, Zoomarine, Lidl Portugal, Decathlon, Vitae Professionals, Leroy Merlin, Norauto, Go Work RH Saúde, Moneris Group, Jumbo, Aki , EasySensing, Pitch Studios, Quinta do Lago, Grupo Visabeira, Tranquilidade, Talent City, Lusíadas, Dengun, and NAU Hotels & Resorts.

The 1st “UAlg Careers Fair” has as partners ANJE – National Association of Young Entrepreneurs, the Employment and Vocational Training Institute, Caixa Geral de Depósitos, Santander Totta, Toastmasters International and the Algarve Wine Commission.

UAlg currently has about 8 thousand students, in various areas of training. Every year, the number of graduates rises to more than 1500, in the different cycles of studies (undergraduates, masters and doctorates).

In order to maintain the high employability rate of its graduates, the Algarve Academy wants the “UAlg Careers Fair” to assert itself as the largest job fair in the south of the country.
