The event, which will bring to Lagoa «some of the best instrumentalists in the country in the area of ​​brass, jazz, or classical music, aims to be «a creative meeting point for musicians, professionals or amateurs, students and wind instrument enthusiasts and music in general».

The Algarve Brass Forum is, according to Orquestra de Jazz do Algarve, «an innovative event in Portugal» and will have the artistic direction of trumpeter Hugo Alves, founder of the Orquestra de Jazz do Algarve.

For the general public, the event has a diversified program of concerts, conferences and jam sessions.

Among the guests are performances by Sérgio Carolino, guest ambassador for this year's event, Lars Arens, Hugo Alves, Javier Ortí, Kevin Wauldron or António Saiote.

There will also be guest students from the "best schools in the country, who will work in an informal and learning climate", adds the organization.

The Algarve Jazz Orchestra guarantees «two full days of great and good music, first-person conversations with the musicians, with a place to learn about new musical trends and explore the diversity of musical instruments through exhibitors and representatives of the world's biggest brands of musical instruments invited to the event'.
