20150922_141946The GNR of Almancil seized several weapons yesterday morning from a 53-year-old man, following a report of an aggravated threat crime. Disagreements over the ownership of land, near Vale de Lobo, were at the origin of the threats.

 

In the house searches, which had the collaboration of military personnel from the GNR Intervention Detachment of Faro, the military found and seized a 12-gauge shotgun, a compressed air rifle, 48 12-gauge cartridges, a war-caliber ammunition (7,62), a melee weapon (kitchen knife) and a storage bag. and transporting a firearm.

The GNR added that "the weapons seized were hidden in various rooms and furniture in the house."

The man was constituted as an accused and provided a Term of Identity and Residence (as part of this process and also for possession of an illegal weapon). The Almancil GNR continues to carry out further investigations.
