The Institute for the Conservation of Nature and Forests (ICNF) will promote educational games, on themes related to the forest and the Iberian lynx, at Loja Ponto Azul, in Armação de Pêra, on the 28th of August and the 2nd and 4th of September, between 14 and 16 hours.
Children and young people will be able to learn more about issues related to environmental protection, in a space in the municipality of Silves created for this purpose. The initiative counts, moreover, with the collaboration of the Education Sector of the Municipality of Silves.
Part of the activities will focus on the Iberian lynx, a species that has its National Reproduction Center installed in Vale Fuzeiros, municipality of Silves.
Activities like “Predator Game – Lynx!” and information about the tourist-pedagogical route “No Caminho do Lince”, whose starting point is the north slope of the Castle of Silves, are some of the informative contents to be made available. The natural.pt brand, which is associated with the natural areas to be protected in our country, will also be addressed.
