new master'sMechanical Engineering – Energy, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration is the name of the new Master's that will be offered in the next academic year of 2015/2016, by the Superior Institute of Engineering (ISE) of the University of Algarve.

The presentation session of this course will take place, at 17 pm on the 00th, at the José Silvestre Amphitheater of the ISE, and will feature the presence of José Campos Correia, district delegate of Faro of the Order of Engineers.

This new cycle of studies will allow students to deepen the knowledge acquired in the degree in Mechanical Engineering, providing the development of regulated activities, namely, access to the E2 Qualification Degree of the Ordem dos Engenheiros.

The Master offers training aimed at acquiring a specialization of a professional nature, providing the student with the ability to innovate and integrate knowledge in solving complex problems in an autonomous way.

Privileging a consolidation of the professional aspect, the students of this master's course may, after curricular training, complete the master's degree with a dissertation of a scientific nature, with an original project work, or with an internship of a professional nature, object of a final report.

Regarding professional opportunities, the Master's course in Mechanical Engineering – Energy, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration enables its students to carry out professional practice in HVAC and refrigeration projects, audits and energy management, management and maintenance in facilities and technological research and development.
