Police discovered the plantation in the back of a residential house and mounted a surveillance action, ending up by surprising the 47-year-old man in flagrante delicto.

In the operation, 19 adult cannabis plants, with a height of between one and two meters, were seized, part of which was already being dried, for later consumption. The GNR also found, after a search of the residence, "11 grams of dry cannabis leaf, six dozen seeds of that plant, four 12-caliber cartridges and even a mobile phone."
