«Burroteca – an Improbable Library» is the event in honor of the fantastic world of books and the unusual libraries of some distant regions, through a donkey ride, with which the Municipal Library of Silves marks, on April 23, from 14 pm at 17:30 pm, his seventh birthday and World Book Day.
This trip, which will begin and end at the Library, will tour the city center and some of its institutions, places where some texts will be read, also offering residents and readers the opportunity to learn more about some of the works that are part of their booty.
The event will also take place with the flavor of a birthday cake, so the readings will be covered, literally, with a delicious flavor and rich flavor.
During this day, the first 10 entries made at the Library will be awarded with recent books by writers who are currently very successful, by simply presenting a citizen's card and proof of address.
The event has the support of Quinta Pedagógica de Silves, where the donkey used on the tour comes from.
