Dinner commemoration of A List A JS LouléHélder Semedo was re-elected coordinator of the Socialist Youth (JS) council of Loulé, in the early elections that took place last Sunday.

The scrutiny followed the resignation of the coordinating secretariat of this council party structure, about two weeks ago, following internal differences.

In a first moment, three of its five members left the management body of the council., but quickly Hélder Semedo followed the same path, returning the choice of leadership to the militants.

On Sunday, the A list, headed by Hélder Semedo, was the most voted. The president of JS/Loulé proposed a renewed team, including “new faces and people he trusts”.

From Hélder Semedo's previous team, only Andreia Bernardo and Mateus Rocha remained. However, Bruno Simões, Lucas Torre, Jéssica Semedo and Rafael Ferreira were elected for the secretariat, by list A.

List B, on the other hand, was headed by Rebeca Martins, but it had Abel Matinhos, André Correia and Josiana Forte, the members of the previous secretariat who clashed with Hélder Semedo, precipitating the elections.

In the end, List B won one of the three places on the PS Loulé Political Commission, which should be occupied by Rebeca Martins.

JS/Loulé added that João Silva "will be nominated at the first secretariat meeting as assistant to the council's president, as determined by the JS Statutes."
