The Academic Association and the entire student community of the University of Algarve are in mourning due to the death of Diogo Brito, aged 20, a student in the 1st year of Management, who was the victim of a road accident this morning, on the EN125, near Almancil.
The Academic Association, in a note published on its website and shared on Facebook, says it received the news "with deep regret" and conveys "to Diogo's family, friends and colleagues the most sincere condolences."
Diogo Brito, who lived in Quarteira, died this morning, around 6:20 am, after the car he was driving collided head-on with a lorry, on the EN125, in the area of Vale de Éguas, Almancil.
