The Academic Association of the University of Algarve will promote a training action on “Education for Values and Ethics through Sports Practice” on February 11, at the José Silvestre Amphitheater, at the Instituto Superior de Engenharia of the University of Algarve.
The training action is mainly aimed at sports and exercise coaches and technicians, and is also open to the entire academic community and the general public.
This initiative follows AAUALG's association with the Inclusion and Healthy Life Program (PIVS) funded by POPH and carried out by the National Plan for Ethics in Sports (PNED) and by the Luso-Ilírio Institute for Human Development (iLIDH).
For AAUALG, «these initiatives aim to strengthen its training component in the area of sport and are fundamental for the formation of values that dignify sports practice and that also apply to any activity within today's society».
This training is accredited by the Portuguese Institute of Sports and Youth, and your participation is equivalent to 0,4 credits for the purpose of renewing the Professional Titles of Sports Coach (any modality) and Physical Exercise Technician.
