young people from Faro they will have the opportunity to get to know the natural riches of the Algarve coast better, while occupying part of their time during their summer holidays.
The Blue Center of the Nautical Center of Praia de Faro will be the basis of the occupational leisure program (OTL) «Environmental Awareness of the Natural Values of Coastal Zones», which the Chamber of Faro and the Southern Nucleus of the Portuguese Association of Environmental Engineers (APEA) will promote between July 28th and August 1st.
"For a week, training sessions will be held (waste, climate change, coastal zones, water, and biodiversity), educational games, waste collection and sorting activities, surveys and awareness-raising actions for beach users", described the camera of Faro. The target of the action are young people between 12 and 17 years old.
This OTL, part of the environmental education activities of the blue flag program of the municipality of Faro, will take place with a maximum number of 15 participants and entries must be made through the email [email protected].
