Two women of foreign nationality, aged 36 and 32, were arrested yesterday by the PSP, in Lagos, for trafficking in narcotic products.

The police also seized 442 doses of heroin, 220 doses of cocaine, 24 doses of hashish and 1176 euros in cash from the two alleged traffickers.

Two precision scales, an electric mill, four computers, eight mobile phones, two cameras, a CS gas cylinder and several gold items, all items related to drug trafficking or reception, were also seized.

These arrests culminated, according to the PSP District Command, an "investigation in progress for about five months, in which it was possible to refer the suspicions as regular suppliers of narcotic products to consumers in that city". With his arrest, the PSP claims to have "contributed to improving the feeling of security of residents of the city of Lagos".

The detainees will be present before the Judiciary Authority during this day.
