The Socialist Youth of Loulé signed a partnership agreement with the Student Associations of the Secondary Schools of Loulé and Quarteira “for the preparation of the 2014 European elections and the inclusion of young people in the world of party politics”. The agreement was signed this Wednesday, at the headquarters of the Socialist Party in Loulé.
The meeting brought together the coordinator of the Socialist Youth Council of Loulé, Hélder Semedo, the president of the Assembly of Militants of JS/Loulé Tomás Martins, the vice president of the Student Association of Loulé Secondary School Andreia Abrantes and the vice president of the Association of Students of the Secondary School Dr.ª Laura Ayres de Quarteira João Baptista.
“For Hélder Semedo, the strengthening of the relationship between JS and the young people of the Municipality of Loulé will be one of the main priorities for the new Municipal Secretariat in this mandate”, revealed JS/Loulé in a press release.
The representatives of the student associations, on the other hand, considered the agreement “a big step, to bring the youth closer to political causes”.
