Imagine walking through the ruins of a villa Roman, led by historical characters who tell him about their memories: the XNUMXth-century archaeologist, who tells him about the discovery of the site; The dominate leading the visit to the manor house; the slave who tells him, in the old baths, how the bath was prepared for her masters, and the cult of nymphs, remembered by a young believer. Stories from other times, told in the first person.

You can do all this with Staged Tours, which are an invitation to discover and enjoy the villa Roman of Milreu, Estoi (Faro).

Visits take place from May to June, on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, at 10:30 and 15:30, for school groups (free of charge), cultural and social associations or groups with more than 10 visitors, by appointment (with three days of advance).

The visits are carried out by interns from the Professional Technical Course in Performing Arts – Interpretation at the Pinheiro e Rosa Secondary School, guided by Professor Ana Cristina Oliveira, within the scope of the Collaboration Agreement between the Regional Directorate of Culture of the Algarve and that entity.
