The musical group Blue Dot will promote a workshop and perform at Teatro Lethes, in Faro, this Friday, March 1st. Both events are held within the scope of the «Uma Friday de Jazz» initiative, which is being promoted by the Associação Grémio das Músicas in this cultural space in Faro.
The workshop, with the theme “Fundamentals of the blues – Structure, rhythm and improvisation”, takes place in the afternoon, between 16:30 pm and 18:30 pm and costs 5 euros. The concert starts at 21 pm, with tickets costing 30 euros per person.
Blue Dot is a musical group formed in 2010 by Ricardo Matos (vocals and guitar), Pedro Gil (guitar), Paulo Matos (bass) and Paulo Franco (drums).
«The quartet unequivocally and passionately assumes the blues as a base of work by incorporating in its repertoire the great themes such as; “Crossroads Blues”, “Third Degree” or the Willie Dixon classic; “Hoochie Coochie Man”», considered Grémio das Músicas.
