Although the rain was present this Sunday in the last race of the World Supersport Championship at Magny-Cours, as Miguel Praia wished it to happen, this would not benefit the Portuguese driver in the expected way. Praia crossed the finish line in 22nd position, failing to reach the scoring places.
In the end, Miguel was satisfied with the result: “It was a very difficult weekend. I didn't have much time on the track and this morning at the 'warm-up' I was really scared, I almost fell and ended up hurting myself”.
“The race was made at the beginning on wet roads, but in the meantime it was drying out, which made the task even more difficult. After everything that happened, it was the possible result”, concluded Miguel Praia, who still hopes to return to this Championship in 2013.
The Turkish Kenan Sofuoglu (Kawasaki) was crowned Supersport World Champion.
