ANA's net income rises 8,1%

With a cumulative increase in passenger passenger traffic of 2,9%, ANA's results at the end of the 1st quarter confirm the company's financial strength as one of its distinguishing factors.

After a year in which the company presented remarkable results (2011), the operational cash flow (EBITDA) at the end of the 1st quarter of 2012 reached the amount of 35,3 million euros, representing a growth of 13,1% compared to the year-on-year period, almost 9 times higher than financial expenses. EBITDA per passenger served increased by around 10%.

Net income grew 8,1%, reaching 9,8 million euros, as a result of a 2,3% growth in operating income and a 1,5% decrease in operating costs.

The leveraged results reflect, in addition to traffic evolution, the strategy followed to improve efficiency and rationalization that have been introduced in the operational management of airports.
