Miguel Segura (Fermase/Feria de Muestras de Armilla) was the winner of the 18th Tour of the Municipality of Loulé, which ended this Saturday. Despite not having won the last 98-kilometer stage between Quarteira and Loulé, the Spanish cyclist kept the yellow jersey he had brought from the day before and took it home.

This stage, despite being competitive, ended up bringing no news to the podium, regarding Friday's double shift. At the top, the general classification, at the end of the day, kept the order in which it left for the road.

Thus, the second place in this competition in the junior category went to Rúben Guerreiro (Alcobaça CC/Crédito Agrícola) and Zulmiro Magalhães (Liberty Seguros/Feira/Specialized) kept the third position.

Today's stage was won by Adelino Pires (Alcobaça CC/Crédito Agrícola), who crossed the line just two seconds before Luís Gomes (Silva & Vinha/ADRAP/Sentir Penafiel) and with seven over the peloton, headed by Francisco Valinho ( CC José Maria Nicolau).

«Alcobaça CC/Crédito Agrícola imposed itself in the collective general classification, Adelino Pires won the classification of points and the mountain and Fábio Mansilhas was the winner of the jersey of flying goals», also revealed the event's organizers, in a statement.
