Cyclist Alejandro Marque, from the Carmim/Prio/Tavira team, took the podium this Sunday at the Volta a Murcia, in Spain, to wear the blue shirt, as the big winner of the goals-fliers.

The athlete proved to be up to the goals set and reached six points that led him to victory in this category.

In the overall individual classification of the Algarve team – the only Portuguese team present –, it was up to David Livramento to get the best position, moving up to 31st place.

The second day's Individual Time Trial was left behind, in which the Spaniard Alejandro Marque was the strongest runner from the Tavirense team, in 18th place, 23 seconds behind the winner Serov (Rusvelo).

The winner of the last Volta a Portugal, Ricardo Mestre, had the best national performance of this CRI, with a difference of 49 seconds for the first place in the table.

This selective competition had the participation of 19 teams, among which are Rabobank, Euskatel Eskadi, Movistar, Vacansoleil, Andalucia, Caja Rural, among others. Colombian Nairo Quintana, from Movistar, was the winner.
