The Terras do Infante Inter-Council Library Network (RIBTI) will carry out the “Educar pela Imagens” project, from January 23rd to 27th, with activities in schools in Lagos, Aljezur and Vila do Bispo.
The main objectives of this initiative are to raise awareness of social responsibility; guide to sustainable development; stimulate the critical sense, the perception of consumer economics, the ability to solve problems and creativity.
Thus, within the scope of this project, organized by the School Libraries Group of Terras do Infante (Aljezur, Lagos and Vila do Bispo) several thematic workshops are planned for each level of schooling: “ECOlândia” for pre-school and 1st cycle education ; “(In)dispensable” for the 2nd and 3rd Cycles and “The History of Things” aimed at secondary school students.

♦ Day 23 | School Library of Júlio Dantas Secondary School – Lagos (students of Júlio Dantas Secondary and Gil Eanes Secondary School);
♦ Days 24 and 25 | Municipal Library of Lagos – Lagos (24th – EB 2,3 students and 25th – Pre-School and 1st Cycle EB students);
♦ Day 26 | School Library of the Integrated School of Aljezur (pre-school children and students from the 1st to the 3rd cycle of EB);
♦ Day 27 | EB 2,3 School Library in Vila do Bispo (Pre-School children and students from 1st to 3rd cycle of EB).
