An interpretive walking tour, from Milreu to S. Brás de Alportel, is scheduled for September 25, as part of the European Heritage Days 2011.

This is an organization of the Al-Portel association, in collaboration with the Regional Directorate of Culture of the Algarve, and the Municipal Councils of Faro and from S. Brás de Alportel

In a journey through time and the landscape, over about nine kilometers, the idea is to revisit the path that the ancestors of the Algarve followed, on the way up from Milreu to S. Brás de Alportel.

The route presents medium difficulty, recommending the use of comfortable shoes, as well as the transport of water and a snack, to guard against treacherous appetites.

The meeting point is in Milreu, at 9 am. Lunch in S. Brás is free, and transportation back to Milreu, the

Enrollments are open to the entire population and limited to a number of 40, and must be made by the 22nd of September by email
([email protected]) or to telephones 289 896 070 / 289 803 633, indicating name, date of birth and document number of
identification for insurance purposes.
