Algarve 2030 opens applications to support projects linked to homelessness

The initiative will take place at the Polytechnic Institute of Beja
The application deadline ends on December 14th
At the moment, the institution is monitoring 88 homeless people

Future CAES de Beja will “be born” in the Casa do Estudante building, in the center of the city, which will be refurbished
Municipal swimming pools have space to shelter this fringe of the population, which is especially vulnerable to the cold snap
Acquisition is being completed
The purpose of the municipality is to «create the necessary conditions for the shelter to be permanent and open throughout the year»
The Beja Homeless Planning and Intervention Center is already in operation
