Montenegro says he had a “good meeting” with the President of the Republic

The secretaries of State of the XXIV Constitutional Government are not yet known

Prime Minister Luís Montenegro said today that he had a “good meeting” with the President of the Republic and referred for “later” the publication of the complete composition of the XXIV Constitutional Government.

«It was a good meeting, we talked about many topics, as for the composition of the Government, we will know later», said Luís Montenegro, in a short statement to journalists, at the end of the first weekly meeting with the head of State after having took office two days ago.

Luís Montenegro arrived at the Belém Palace at 18:04 pm, accompanied only by his chief of staff Pedro Perestrelo Pinto, and left around 19:30 pm.

The secretaries of State of the XXIV Constitutional Government, who will take office on Friday at 18 pm, are not yet known.
