Luís Graça elected vice-president of the PS Parliamentary Group

The parliamentary leader will be Alexandra Leitão

Algarve deputy Luís Graça was elected this Wednesday, April 10, as one of the vice-presidents of the PS Parliamentary Group. 

In a post on social media, the parliamentarian said that he hopes to be “up to this new mission and the demanding political moment we are experiencing”.

«The PS maintains in opposition the defense of its ideology for a more developed and socially fairer and cohesive Portugal», he adds.

The parliamentary leader will be Alexandra Leitão, former minister and one of the figures closest to Secretary-General Pedro Nuno Santos.

The list of vice-presidents also includes several former governors, such as António Mendonça Mendes (Secretary of State for Parliamentary Affairs), Mariana Vieira da Silva (Minister of the Presidency) or Marina Gonçalves (Minister of Housing).

Interestingly, Cristóvão Norte, another Algarve deputy, also will be vice-president… of the PSD Parliamentary Group.
