A FlixBus has launched new lines that allow you to travel by Faro city and airport, Albufeira, Porto and Beira Interior directly to Lisbon Airport.
After Porto and Faro, Lisbon airport becomes part of FlixBus' domestic and international network in Portugal, becoming connected not only to national airports, but also to Madrid-Barajas international airport.
According to the company, the first FlixBus lines to and from Lisbon airport are already operating, and aim to reduce the use of private vehicles on trips to the airport.
«These new lines are the result of our strategy of strengthening direct connections to national airports, in order to facilitate connecting trips for everyone traveling by plane. We believe that, with good shared mobility solutions, people going to airports can leave their car at home and opt for public transport", says Pablo Pastega, general director of FlixBus for Portugal and Spain.
