Cristiano Cabrita is the new Algarve PSD deputy

For now, he has only suspended his duties at the Albufeira Chamber

Cristiano Cabrita, who was number four on the Democratic Alliance list for the Algarve circle, took office as deputy after list leader Miguel Pinto Luz left parliament to take on the role of Minister of Infrastructure.

Cristiano Cabrita, who is vice-president of Albufeira City Council, confirmed to Sul Informação who assumed the position of PSD deputy in the Assembly of the Republic, having, for now, only suspended his functions in the municipality.

«Final decisions will only be made in May», Cristiano Cabrita told our newspaper.

The PSD now has Cristóvão Norte, Ofélia Ramos and Cristiano Cabrita as deputies elected for the Algarve.

Cristóvão Norte, who is president of the District of Social Democrats in the Algarve, will also be one of the vice-presidents of the PSD Parliamentary Group.
