Vila do Bispo City Council gives jeep to GNR

According to the protocol, the municipality also bears the costs of insurance and maintenance expenses

The Vila do Bispo City Council provided a jeep to the GNR that will be used for policing in the municipality. 

The addendum to the vehicle transfer protocol was signed on April 5th, by Rute Silva, president of the Chamber, and Colonel Carlos Almeida, commander of the Territorial Command of Faro.

The vehicle, owned by the municipality, represents a total investment of around 64 thousand euros and was provided, free of charge, as part of the collaboration between the municipality and the GNR.

According to protocol, the municipality also bears the costs of insurance and maintenance expenses.

The agreement lasts for five years and is renewable for periods of two years.
