Lagoa Library hosts “Pop-Up and Kirigami Workshop”

This activity is aimed at children aged 6 to 10 accompanied by their guardians

The Lagoa Library will host, on April 20th, from 20:30 pm, a “Pop-Up and Kirigami Workshop”, given by Andreia Salgueiro, from the “Arco da Velha” group. 

«In this workshop we propose experimenting with different paper engineering techniques such as the Japanese Kirigami technique (cutting and folding paper) and the Pop-up technique in which images jump off the pages, pop and build themselves in height» , explains Câmara de Lagoa.

Andreia Salgueiro has a degree in Anthropology and Communication, Art and Culture, a postgraduate degree in Children's Books, The Art of Telling Stories and Fiction Writing and with training in the area of ​​Graphic Design and Revision, since 2010 she has been part of the editorial team da Alfarroba and previously carried out editorial coordination functions, first at Fólio Comunicação Global and then at Texto Editores, Grupo Leya.
