Tavira promotes discovery of Algarve wines and the CEAT ampelographic collection

The Tavira Municipal Museum will promote an activity to discover Algarve Wines and the CEAT ampelographic collection, within the scope of the “Valorize – Sustainability Support Line” program and the “Tavira with the Mediterranean Diet – A sustainable tourist destination” application. on March 27th.

The experience will be led by Catarina Pica and Luís Cabrita, from CCDR Algarve, and by Aníbal Neto, from Associação Agrolares, professionals with vast experience and dedication to promoting wine and agricultural culture in the Algarve

Catarina Pica, graduated in Agronomy from the Instituto Superior de Agronomia (1983), has a career rich in activities in the areas of fruit growing, viticulture and plant health.

Luís Filipe Martins Cabrita, graduated in Agricultural Engineering from the University of Évora (1997), has stood out in the areas of genetic resources and fruit and viticulture.

Aníbal Neto, graduated in Agricultural Engineering from the University of Évora (2005), founded Associação Agrolares, in 2013, with the aim of producing quality wines, focusing on the recovery of old vines.
