Next “Jornadas de Lagos” will talk about local power and citizen participation

The next seminar, as part of the IV Jornadas de Lagos, will take place on the 23rd of March, in the Auditorium of the XNUMXst Century Town Hall Building, and will be under the theme “Local Power and Citizen Participation”. 

The initiative will last from 15:00 am to 18:00 pm.

The speakers will be professor António Fragoso, from the University of Algarve, who will speak about “Local Power and citizen participation”, Lucinda Caetano, from the University of Lisbon, who will present “Public Policies versus citizen participation: the study of Algarve municipalities” and Alice Graça-Dias, from the University of Coimbra, who will speak about “Local governance and citizens: an empirical study in the Central Region of Portugal”.

They are joined by Albino Almeida, president of ANAM – National Association of Municipal Assemblies, who will speak about “The Future of Local Power”.

Moderating this panel of speakers will be Paulo Rosário Dias, coordinator of the Singular Municipal Group of CHEGA of the Municipal Assembly of Lagos.

This seminar is open to the public, with free entrance, and parking in the building's car park in the XNUMXth century. XNUMXst free.
