Lots of excitement guaranteed for the Portuguese GP of the MotoGP World Championship at the Autódromo

Program «again features many activities, concentrated around the circuit and with a strong component of interactivity and animation»

The Autódromo Internacional do Algarve announced that it is “preparing in detail”, not only the reception of the MotoGP World Championship, but also the visit of the many thousands of spectators who continue to buy “tickets for what will be the first European round of the World Championship , in its 75th year of existence».

Concentrating all the entertainment around the venue, and therefore making it accessible to everyone, «has been the focus of the circuit near Portimão, in partnership with the local authorities and the promoter of the world championship, to Dorna, in a year that is special not only for the championship but also for Portugal».

«This is a very special year for us, not only because we are celebrating our 15th anniversary but also because it is the year of the 100th anniversary of the city of Portimão, the 75th of the world championship and the 50th anniversary of the 25th of April. The Air Force, which celebrates its 74th year of existence, also joined us, as well as the other branches of the Armed Forces (Navy and Army) and wanted to be very visible with the Portuguese throughout the entire weekend- weekend, something that we are very proud of as Autódromo Internacional do Algarve and that certainly everyone who will visit us will enjoy as a result of the proximity actions that will be developed», said Paulo Pinheiro, the CEO of Parkalgar, the company that owns the Autódromo .

«The program in 2024 will again feature many activities, concentrated around the circuit and with a strong component of interactivity and animation», he added.

The «long list of activities that is still being finalized» already includes musical entertainment in the Fan Zone next to the main stand, with music concerts and DJ performances every day, the presence of a Hot Air balloon, where everyone you will be able to discover the fantastic sensations of flight during the weekend, exhibition of military vehicles from the three branches of the Armed Forces, opening of Pit-Lane on Thursday afternoon, for all ticket holders for any stand».

All of this in a program that will start long before the first exit to the track, on the morning of March 22nd, and which will culminate in a great weekend, with the draw for a Yamaha R7 and 11 helmets from Miguel Oliveira , at the end of the MotoGP race on Sunday, March 24th.
