Fado singer Marco Rodrigues will give a tribute concert to Carlos do Carmo on April 13th, starting at 21pm, at the Carlos do Carmo Auditorium, in Lagoa.
Carlos do Carmo is at the genesis of this new show by Marco Rodrigues. A self-confessed admirer of one of the biggest names in fado around the world, Marco Rodrigues finds in this new show a way of thanking those who welcomed him into the world, who sponsored him.
In this tribute, Marco Rodrigues will revisit the unavoidable themes of Carlos do Carmo's repertoire as well as fados that may have gone more unnoticed and that may now gain new life and a new appearance.
Tickets for this show cost 10 euros and will be on sale soon here and at the ticket offices of CTT, Fnac, Worten, Auditorium Carlos do Carmo, Centro Cultural Convento de S. José and Balcão Único da Câmara Municipal de Lagoa (20% discount with cultural passport, Lagoa Social card or Rota do Petisco 2023 Passport, available at ticket offices in the Municipality of Lagoa).
